Speaking
My primary venue for speaking is with the congregation I serve as minister. Between September and June, I preach an average of three times per month. During the summer I tend to preach once per month.
I am fortunate to get to collaborate with an incredible music director, director of religious eduction, and office administrator as well as a team of dedicated lay-leaders to bring our weekly worship services to life.

As a Humanist and Religious Naturalist in terms of my primary theological influences, I draw on themes from nature, poetry, contemporary culture, and stories from humankind for these services.
Most years, I develop a sermon series to span the ten month program year. My most recent was exploring our tools for survival and thriving during times of apocalypse which I called Our Toolkits for Life. Samples of those services are shared below and many other services can be found on BuxMont UU Fellowship’s website.

Beyond BuxMont
Outside of weekly Sunday morning services at BuxMont, I guest preach in other communities a few times each year. I also speak at conferences and in social justice efforts particularly on the topics of LGBTQ+ justice, immigration justice, around issues of non-theistic identity, and religious/interfaith inclusion for those who do not believe in deities.
